What began as a hobby has blossomed into a meaningful and fulfilling small business and life. Every day, I find joy in creating unique pieces that connect with people — be it a large driftwood wall sculpture or a delicate light catcher. I still can’t believe I get to do this for a living, and I take great pride in knowing my work adds beauty and joy to the lives of others.

Discovering driftwood feels like unearthing hidden treasures along the rivers and lakes I explore. Each piece I come across carries its own unique character and history, shaped by the elements and time itself, making it the perfect foundation for stunning wall sculptures. The joy of selecting driftwood comes from its organic forms and textures, inspiring creativity and igniting the imagination.

Cutting out metal shapes is an incredibly fulfilling part of the creative process. Each cut reveals the metal's potential, and the tactile experience of working with it is deeply satisfying. Every piece is crafted by hand, ensuring that each sculpture is truly one-of-a-kind.

Next is the intriguing patina process, where metal is transformed through chemical reactions, revealing a vibrant spectrum of colors and patterns. This stage often brings delightful surprises, with outcomes that can vary dramatically depending on the materials and techniques used. The result transcends the metal base beneath the patina, transforming it into something entirely new, with it’s rich, unique tones. This transformation serves as a reminder that beauty often emerges from the unexpected, celebrating the unique interplay of nature and creativity. It reinforces the idea that beauty often lies in the unplanned and spontaneous elements of life.
